Traumasensitive Yoga
Since the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic I started special online courses (IN ENGLISH) in Traumasensitive Yoga. I feel a growing need to use Yoga for dealing with trauma in our turbulent times.
The courses are aimed at everyone who feels the need to understand and experience traumasensitive yoga personally : practitioners, yoga teachers, therapists, people of all ages.
The sessions that include physical exercises from Hatha Yoga, breathing exercises (Pranayama), relaxation (variations of Yoga Nidra) and techniques from Raja Yoga to develop our inner observer.
The sessions give and allow room for own observation and reflection.
The focus in these traumasensitive sessions is on 3 main topics: Stability // Reframing // Peace
– STABILITY: understanding and deepening my roots and my body connection with the earth
– REFRAMING: going out of stagnation, the repetition of old stories and the state of helplesness
– PEACE: developing the feeling of inner peace, deep with myself
The techniques used in the sessions are based on the teachings of Bihar School of Yoga (India) and the Traumasensibles Yoga (TSY Ingradual, Germany).
