Werk&Tal

This is a project born after the floods in the valley of the river Ahr, in one of the most affected towns, Altenahr. An outdoor exhibition in the ruins of the town. Culture as a way of communicating about the devastating experience. I participated with several formats – parts of my podcast 89 steps can be heard in three places in the town, on mobile stations. In one of the formerly famous places, now completely destroyed – the disco Das Fässchen – I did an intuitive workshop with music and singing. Late autumn I organised a story-writing workshop in the town.

#AHRT

The first exhibition of its kind at the ARP museum. Artists, musicians, writers from the Ahr River region. Part of the exhibition is my podcast 89 steps.

A family photo

A story-writing event at M-A-SH Gallery in Remagen, inspired by the works of artist Margarete Gebauer. An old photograph of my great-grandmother Mina and great-grandfather Ivan that stands in our family house in Bela Rechka, which somehow always gave me anxiety. On 25 March 2022 I invited friends and strangers to write – what do they see in this photograph? Then we read the stories, talked and finally I placed a copy of the photograph in one of Margarete Gebauer’s ceramic hearts.
