About Me

Diana Ivanova, 1968 Montana - Bulgaria
I love to write and travel and maybe this are the only 2 constant things about me.
I love to take pictures, sometimes.
I am fascinated by places full with melancholy. I am writing on that and still wondering about my love for that.
I am writing on memories from communism, on Cuba, on European places for memory that we create by ourselves.
I love group work and bringing people together.
Bela Rechka is the place where I experiment in that direction.
Places that I feel deep connection with are Havana and Santjago in Cuba, Buhara and Osh in Uzbekistan, Prague, Venice and Vienna, Istanbul, Rykhia in India.
I have obtained a master degree in journalism from the Sofia University in 1991 (yes, just after the changes 1989, very interesting time for me).
1995 - 2003 I lived in Prague where I worked as a journalist for Radio Free Europe.
Than I specialized in cultural management in Salzburg, lived for several months in Vienna.
Now I am living in Sofia and Gorna Bela Rechka.
